Jinnet Vidal, LSW (Located virtually in MA, PA, VA,NJ AND FL)
Hi, I’m Jinnet Vidal, LSW. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families using a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach. I believe that healing happens in safe, supportive relationships, and I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, trauma, grief, family conflict, or major life transitions. These challenges can affect daily functioning, relationships, and overall emotional well-being. My ideal client is someone who may be feeling stuck or uncertain but is motivated to make meaningful changes, build healthier coping skills, and strengthen their sense of safety and connection.
I specialize in trauma-informed care for children, teens, adults, and families. I help clients develop practical tools to manage anxiety, regulate emotions, improve communication, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence. For youth, I incorporate play and creative activities to support healthy self-expression, while also providing caregivers with guidance and coaching to strengthen family relationships.
My clinical work integrates evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness-based therapies, and solution-focused strategies. I also draw from psychodynamic, existential, and client-centered frameworks to tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs. My practice is culturally responsive, inclusive, and affirming, including support for immigrant and mixed-status families and LGBTQ+ individuals.
Whether we are working on stress management, trauma recovery, parenting challenges, relationship concerns, or self-esteem, my goal is to partner with you in building emotional resilience, improving communication, and creating meaningful, lasting change. Together, we can work toward a life where you and your family feel more connected, confident, and able to thrive emotionally and psychologically.
