About Me

As a therapist, my greatest strengths are listening deeply, showing compassion, and appreciating who you already are. I believe that you are the expert on yourself—even if that doesn’t feel true right now. My role is to listen with empathy and curiosity so together we can uncover your strengths and abilities.

In therapy, we’ll collaborate on a plan that honors your past experiences, builds new coping tools, and defines what thriving means for you. This might involve exploring current challenges, healing from old hurts, clarifying your goals, or identifying unmet needs. I provide a non-judgmental, supportive space that welcomes all thoughts and feelings, and I strive to create an atmosphere of genuine respect for people of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, body sizes, and abilities.

Who I Work With

My clients often come to therapy wanting relief from painful past experiences, clarity about their lives, or a stronger sense of control and authenticity. I have experience helping people make lasting change, improve relationships, uncover the roots of their challenges, and begin living in alignment with their true selves.

How I Can Help

I specialize in supporting individuals who are “figuring it out” and ready for a space of understanding and encouragement. Together, we will decide what you’d like to change, explore what’s getting in the way, and identify the skills and supports that can help you move forward. I see therapy as a collaborative partnership that respects your story and helps you decide what’s next.

Ellen Brock , LCSW ( Located In Person and Virtually in PA)
$0.00

Ellen Brock received her Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University in 1990 and has spent decades helping individuals navigate life’s emotional, relational, and psychological challenges with compassion, insight, and practical support. She works with children ages 6 and up, teens, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds, providing both short-term solution-focused counseling and longer-term therapeutic care tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Ellen believes therapy is a collaborative process grounded in compassion, self-respect, and the understanding that while our past experiences shape us, they do not have to define our future. She is committed to creating a safe, accepting, and confidential environment where clients feel supported as they work toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.

Her approach is highly individualized and integrative. Rather than relying on one single modality, Ellen draws from a wide range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches based on what works best for each client and what they feel most comfortable with. Her clinical work incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, existential therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and solution-focused therapy.

Ellen has extensive experience supporting individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse histories, grief and loss, stress, relationship concerns, self-esteem issues, compassion fatigue, chronic illness, medical challenges, suicidal ideation, parenting concerns, and major life transitions. She also works with clients facing nephrology-related challenges, academic pressures, career difficulties, and sports-related stressors.

At the heart of Ellen’s work is a strong belief that every person has the capacity for growth, resilience, and positive change. She helps clients build confidence in themselves, strengthen coping skills, and move through difficult experiences with greater clarity and emotional wellbeing. Whether someone is seeking support during a challenging season of life or working through longstanding concerns, Ellen partners with her clients to help them achieve their goals and create lives with less emotional friction and greater fulfillment.

Ellen offers both in-person and telehealth appointments, with an initial in-person session preferred whenever possible.

$0.00

Eddie approaches therapy with curiosity, empathy, and deep respect for each person’s unique perspective. He works with teenagers, young adults, and adults who are navigating anxiety, stress, identity questions, and the many transitions that come with different stages of life. These periods can often bring uncertainty, pressure, and difficult emotions. Therapy can offer a supportive space to slow down, reflect, and better understand what you’re experiencing.

In sessions, he works alongside clients to explore the challenges they are facing, recognize patterns in thoughts and emotions, and develop practical ways to navigate them. He believes therapy should honor each individual’s story, background, and goals, meeting clients where they are while supporting them in moving forward.

His work is grounded in a strengths-based perspective and integrates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and other evidence-based approaches. Through this collaborative process, Eddie helps clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and develop confidence in navigating life’s challenges.

Eddie specializes in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, and life transitions.
