About Me
I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being yourself—not like you have to walk in knowing exactly what to say or having everything figured out. My style is warm, conversational, collaborative, and down-to-earth. Therapy should be a space where you can talk honestly about the messy, complicated parts of life without fear of judgment.
My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, meaning I tailor therapy to you rather than expecting one approach to work for everyone. I believe our past experiences and relationships can influence how we see ourselves, connect with others, and respond to situations today.
My role isn’t to tell you how to live your life, but I also won’t simply sit back and nod. I’ll listen, ask questions, help you make connections, and gently challenge you when it may be helpful. There may be difficult conversations, but there can also be humor, laughter, and moments of simply being human.
Who I Work With
I work with teens and adults who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next. You may know that something in your life isn’t working anymore but have difficulty understanding why or figuring out how to change it.
I support clients navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, relationship difficulties, family conflict, substance use and recovery, self-esteem concerns, boundaries, identity, career changes, and major life transitions.
I also enjoy working with people who notice themselves repeating the same relationship, emotional, or behavioral patterns and want to better understand where those patterns come from.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Sometimes simply knowing that you want something to be different is enough of a place to begin.
How I Can Help
Together, we can explore how your experiences and relationships may be influencing your life today while developing practical tools to help you move forward.
Our work may focus on recognizing patterns in your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships; strengthening boundaries and communication; developing healthier coping strategies; improving emotional regulation; and building greater trust in yourself and your decisions.
My goal is to help you better understand yourself while creating meaningful changes that are realistic and sustainable in your everyday life.
