Taylor Goyette-Frechette, LCSW ( (Located Virtually in PA, MA, VA, NJ, FL and IL)
As a Black, queer Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe our stories and identities matter. Therapy should be a place where every part of who you are is welcomed, honored, and explored with care. My approach is grounded in the belief that healing is both personal and collective, and that our mental wellbeing is deeply shaped by the communities, systems, and experiences that surround us.
I strive to create an affirming, liberatory, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen, supported, and empowered. Whether you're navigating questions about race, gender, sexuality, relationships, life transitions, trauma, grief, or the everyday challenges of balancing it all, I am here to walk alongside you.
My work integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, attachment-based approaches, and strengths-based interventions. Together, we may explore the different parts of yourself, challenge patterns that no longer serve you, build practical coping skills, and reconnect with your strengths, values, and sense of possibility.
I specialize in working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, intimate partner violence, racial trauma, racial identity development, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals from marginalized communities who are seeking a space where they don't have to explain or defend their identities.
I believe joy, rest, and self-compassion are powerful tools for healing. My goal is to help you move beyond survival mode, deepen your understanding of yourself, and create a life that feels more authentic, connected, and aligned with who you are.
If you're curious about working together, I'd love to connect and explore whether we're a good fit.
